the unfortunate nature of the industry is that this'll continue to be the norm until there is a wider push to use bandcamp as the primary seller of music like most independent artists.
i use spotify for the convenience, but i'll buy any music i like directly (or as close to directly) as i can from the musician

Over the past year I kept on coming back to listen to this on bandcamp but was never going to buy it until I saw the CD on sale, so I put it into my cart and mulled over it for a few hours wondering what else to add so that I could get some bang for the buck on shipping, and by the time I got it through to the checkout the price had reverted back to normal. What the heck, I'll own it in a couple of weeks if the posties do the right thing, and it's a catchy synth driven pop tune with bright female vocals and a motorik drumbeat, so I won't have to cry hard about the $6.45 discount I didn't get.
