dax riggs drops a new album after 15 years

still digesting. not as immediate as the last one. stripped back but overproduced as well. his vocals, particularly the acrobatics don't work as well with the amount of reverb or doubling used on this album. just wish i could hear those pipes a bit clearer. could be an age thing. album misses his falsetto too.

never heard of this dude but I like the name and cover art so I gave it a listen.
found it a bit bland and samey. all the tracks kind of bleed into one until Graveyard Soul (my favourite) and then it’s over.

played Say Goodnight To The World straight afterwards, it’s much more dynamic and sonically diverse. I enjoyed this one.
