Because to begin with LIB is not their best work anyway. Macca always said he wasn't happy with Spector's production (Wall of Sound and the like) but who knows what Lennon and Harrison thoguth of it. And would they be happy with the Naked version, a band is bigger than one person and as much as I love Macca (and most of his solo LPs) I just don't think you should monkey with history.

Imagine if every band that made a so-so album went back and "fixed" it now...the market would be flooded with them and is it really necessary?
