Yep. I have played the games several times, even played them during the show, and I love the TV adaptation. The good thing about the TV show is it is kept fresh from the games. Think of all of the big scenes (if you have watched the first 6 episodes) and the TV show changes those parts. Episode 3 was an original story for example.
It’s a good thing that it isn’t a scene for scene re-creation.

We’ve heard a few times by the series creators that the series was being written as a 3 season show. Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent) said season 3 was being written as the final one. But other cast members have said they genuinely don’t know. It might not end at season 3 but good chance that it will. It would be disappointing if it does but the worst thing a series can do is run one or more seasons too long.

Good article here. It might be the popularity of the show ends up dictating more. And maybe a new place. Definitely a new story arc if they extend. Or maybe the well will be dry.
For me, watching the men articulate, share and bond is awesome. It's like a 'how to ' show for upping your emotional IQ..or EQ.
Great casting helps.
