1) Appointing an 8 man leadership group with many underperforming or talentless players.
2) Resigning the head coach without him ever making the finals in 4 previous seasons and after a bad Round 1 defeat.
3) Allowing Tom Stewart to intercept the ball a gazillion times and in doing so destroy a young talented player's confidence.
4) Losing to bottom placed Richmond at home in prime time without many of their best players.
5) Snubbing a well performing talented high draft pick. When finally selecting him, play him as a sub who does not even come on the field potentially causing him to return home.
6) Older underperforming player publicly shaming a younger decently performing player with then younger player getting dropped, potentially causing him to return home.

Please suggest other great memories.

Nicks post match pressers, so many of them are treasured memories of the 2024 season, particularly after those Nicks specialty, the honourable loss to a top eight team

#2 didn't happen.........

The fact that it is almost over!
Can only hope that we get poleaxed this weekend by the best side running around by far and the 2024 Premier.
Then get to watch Nicks' presser after the game. Gold. Might record it for posterity.
Cant wait for the 2024 Club Presentations.

Hard to go past re-signing a loser coach after losing the first game and a history of losing so that his impending contract wouldn't distract him from losing the first 4 games of the season.

Like Shoresy says, 'set the tone'. And **** me if that didn't set the tone for the season.

Highlights/Lowlights: this week’s debacle aside, Silvers’ 5aa interview/made-up review & the fly deserves special mention but for mine that Good Friday Fremantle shitshow won’t be beat, it was 3 games into an AFL season and Nicks goes into the post-game presser and blames the result on every player on the list; all 44, being out of form, I mean wtf 🤣

What a start to a season it was.

Easily watching the first showdown in Hue Vietnam with some family and friends. We weren’t expected to win.

We were in a dodgy sports bar (nowhere else has AFL) drinking a few Huda beers. It was a fantastic afternoon.

In amongst the disappointment and despair there have been glimmers of joy to cling onto.

Onward and upwards.
