Will be interesting what it sounds like, didnt really enjoy Switch compared with their back catalogue. Hutchence really was the heart of that band and sadly I think without him they will never reach the heights of before.

Yeah Switch was pretty crap, too much pop, but It shall be interesting seeing what the band is coming up with now.

Cog have to get out of the country before they can get to work on their next album, let alone release it!!! The last thing I heard they were having major visa issues.
I'm sure they'll work it out, tho. And when they do, their new album is my 2nd most anticipated release of '07.
Why second? Coz RUSH are releasing in '07!!!!!

Can't wait for an April release, just about the same time as Opening Day at Yankee Stadium!!!!!

Mr Magoo, where did you hear this? I have been on their website and can't find anything on it. I hope it's true though.

I also can't wait for the new Tomahawk CD (as well as a possible Peeping Tom tour later in the year).

Regarding the Ac/dc cd .... my friend told me & his uncle works for the company that is the distributor for ac/dc in Australia. Also he told me they will be starting a world tour later this year ... dates to be confirmed etc but as soon as i get told something concrete i will post it here.

Also one other cd i'm looking forward to is the new one by Megadeth.

Although I didn't like their last two, a bit like Metallica, I still would like to hear Manowar's new one, in hope that they return to their former classics. A bit the same with Megadeth's new one.

I bought the "Sons of Odin" 5-track EP, and wasn't overly impressed. Lots of choirs, lots of narrations, and the songs were good but not hugely original.

I actually like the last two albums (not every album can be "Kings of Metal"), but you can only put the same thing out so often. A band that makes you wait 5 years for a new CD would want to do something groundbreaking, not release what seem like off-cuts from the 5 year old effort. Still, optimistic.
