Definitely the first. Throughout our last decade our trademark in finals was getting blown away in the first quarter and we even let it happen in the QF but when it mattered most we just came out and smashed them into submission, setting the tone for the day. It was just incredible to be there with all the other cats supporters losing my shit every time we goaled in the first.

Q1. It set the tone very early, Cats were at their scintillating best and really put the Swans to the sword.
Q2. Swans had some ascendancy and threatened to get back into the game but every time they challenged we immediately responded, keeping the margin at 6 goals was huge.
Q3. Wowee what a quarter! Many around me (and myself) were a touch worried about Q3, been our worst all season and felt that our best chance was to hold the Swans to +2 goals or so for the quarter to go into 3/4 time with a 4 goal lead, then use our awesome last quarters to roll them. Didn't need it. Cats were phenominal in Q3.
Q4. Brought it home. Jezza finally getting some reward for a steller season, Parfitt being subbed on for Guthrie with the "great bloke" injury. THE SELWOOD GOAL! SDK kicking his first ever goal. ****ING SIREN YOU ****ING BEAUTY!

I go Q3. The Premiership Quarter that setup the Premiership.

Holy shit I love this club.

I voted Q1 even though it wasn't until the third that I relaxed.
To start a GF like that is about as good as we could ever ask for.
Completely agree. Q3 was brilliant because you could sit back knowing the flag is ours.
But Q1 was just unbelievable. The build up to the game, to then see that was something I’ll never forget.

Last quarter, could finally relax, poured the first drink (had it ready to go since the start of the match) and sat down on the couch (Did about 8 thousand steps pacing back and forth behind the couch before that point). Could just take the time to soak it all in and really savour it. Lots of emotions flowing but mainly gratitude for this club and the players past and present who contributed. Couldn't ask for more from a sports team, they give me something a little extra to look forward to every week of the AFL season. Spent the entire match by myself, listening in with noise cancelling headphones, jumping around, shouting silently and clapping silently intermittently (6 week old son was sleeping!) but couldn't have enjoyed it any more :tearsofjoy:

I reckon I went the most apeshit at the ground in the 3rd quarter.. The first was amazing, the second was just even enough and there were slight hints they might get going to have that hint of anxiety at half time. The 3rd quarter was putting the foot to the throat and hit that point that we knew we'd won the game.

Loved them all though.

Was fortunate to be sitting at the punt road end where most of the magic happened

Premiership quarter
If the swans were ever going to do any it was going to be just after halftime

And we smashed them

It was awesome live
But watching the replay you really got to see how dominant and powerful we were

What a club

Absolutely

When about 10 minutes had passed and we looked on I said "Well, at least we haven't been jumped"

Little did I know what was coming over the next 110 minutes...

3Q. Once we kicked the third unanswered goal for the quarter I knew we were Premiers.

But loved the 1Q too. We were ‘on’.

4Q was a big yawn except for Joel and De Koning’s goals, and the final siren

I'll watch the replay later but for now I'll go Q3, followed closely by Q1. I remember thinking if we just traded goal for goal after half-time like we did in Q2 we'd be premiers, but the floodgates opened and the rest is history. Selwood's goal in Q4 is my new favourite moment across any of the four premierships though.

I wanted to vote 1 AND 3
But had to say first, not getting jumped, coming to play and putting in our best performance of the season

Delicious

First quarter as I was expecting a tight nervy contest but pretty early on we could all see the cats were going to win.

Generally you can tell pretty early on in a GF.

3rd quarter

For all our early field dominance in the first, we really didn't put the scoreboard pressure on until later in the quarter - though no doubt it turned into the perfect start

The third quarter was just crazy though - yes we had a 36 point lead at halftime, but if Sydney kick 2 or 3 quick goals then it's game on. Instead we came out firing and unlike the first quarter, we turned that field dominance into early goals, the 3 goals in 6 minutes essentially putting the game out of Sydney's reach and made the next 50 minutes just fun to watch
