who is surprised dutton has lasted this long as opposition leader. I don't understand how he is electable let alone a shot at being PM.

Because a lot of Australians are uneducated, politically ignorant and/or greedy and mean-spirited. I don't think Albo's much chop either but Dutton and the LNP are by far the greater of two evils.
