Opinion What would have done if Carusso had SOS's picks.

I believe it is almost universally accepted that SOS's draft record outside his very early picks is poor.
No one can hit all picks and players that turn out to be excellent slip in every draft. But overall SOS missed an awful lot.
2014 is the Nadir for me. We had picks 4,6,7 & 23 and ended up with Pickitt, Marchbank, Ahern and McKenna.
As a one off, not so bad, but there were lots of drafts like that.

With Fonti, a pick 44 debuting and looking so good on the weekend, I was thinking Carusso has done it again. Last years crop is starting to look good.He has an amazing record.
I'd love to see what Carusso would have managed to achieve with those huge draft hands that SOS had from say 2012 to 2016

Obviously everything changes in this scenario and the salary cap would have bit hard even if he nailed them all.

Also worth noting that SOS traded brilliantly, always got full value for our departing players.

Still you think, I wonder if?

Good thoughts. This subject has also crossed my mind lately.
There's not much to be gained from what-ifs, but it could be an interesting deconstruction if PMBangers still has his notes.
