Clearly the process in getting North Melbourne out of the basement isnt working.

Lower round picks to be used as trade bait seem to have failed.

Assuming they won't improve and will get Pick 1 and another priority pick this year, maybe they should be forced to trade both of those as is, rather than used as another draftee treading water in a losing environment.

What current best 22 player from your club could be offered to pick up a #1 / #2 draft pick?

The profitable clubs and actually all clubs should tell north to **** off

They won't get one. Wce and hawks are next in line. The game has moved on from north. Last thing we need is hawks and wce going into a death spiral

Pp should even be uttered by north supporters and should be used as a joke by opposition supporters not actual valid idea.

Similar to Centrelink who require those collecting welfare to prove they are applying for jobs and attending interviews, the AFL should require that North provide evidence every week that they’re actually trying to get better.

First thing should be wiping the $1.6m they’re spending on a head coach. What a waste of soft cap space.

Get in someone young and hungry and spend the rest on half a dozen development and conditioning staff.

They don’t deserve any more.

Probably time for the supporters to start asking
some hard questions to Viney, Clarkson, the CEO and the Prez.

What’s the on and off field strategy for this club, and what are the benchmarks for success?

Where are they at for setting a standard in culture and leadership? There doesn’t seem to be much coming out of it on field. Off field, only silence and a plea for patience.

Extra cap space and perhaps a couple of picks from VFL/SANFL should be all they get for their self inflicted problems.

North have won 12 games since the start of 2020, let that sink in.
Carlton won 28 games between 2002 and 2007, and they got whacked for rorting the cap.

What is North's excuse?

North make a profit.

They've already had Priority Picks 19 and 20 in this years draft, there won't be any more.

North are a drain on the AFL and in terms of importance of clubs they're 19th. Fitzroy had their licence taken away for being less crap than North are right now.

Other clubs won't allow another round of North begging bowl this year. Got to either make a go of it as the smallest fish in the biggest pond or get out.

Agree. How do North need more kids if they get some with clear trading stipulations maybe but they have a LOT of kids already
