Ten have started running promo ads for Modern Family, which IMO is the best comedy since Arrested Development.

Cannot recommend this show highly enough.

I reckon It's Always Sunny in Philly is easily the best show on TV right now, easily best since AD.

If you like animated shows:

South Park - the last few seasons are probably the best.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force - not for everyone. Basically the only description I could give you is an 11 minute show about talking fast food characters.

the movie was funny, but the best one ever was D*ckesode, its alright now its still no robot chicken because ATHF seems the be kinda crap when youre not drunk or stoned at times, but robot chicken is always good. most Adult swim shows are good, i miss Harvey Birdman, but Squidbillies is worth a look at, and i enjoy venture bros

Hand Banana is a brilliant episode but season 5 is probably full of 3 or 4 briliant episodes and the rest aren't that great. SEason 6 isn't that good I haven't check out anything after that. It hits a consistant peak from around season 2 to season 5 (where it gets absolutely insane).

Oz is really good, watching it makes you never want to go to jail.
The League of Gentleman is so funny, think Little Britain but even more bizarre.
The X Files is easily my favorite, lots of variety in episodes, some funny and others genuinely scary.

Anyone seen The Riches? Was ok.

Prison Break was very slick and had great characters but you can only buy that shit for so long.

What about The Young Doctors? That was epic. No, not really.

Big Love on SBS - Series 1 now being repeated on Showcase. It's got it all, multiple wives (Mormons)/sex/back stabbing/murder/dirty deeds done dirt cheap.

Satisfaction tho I hope there is a 4th series and it's a bit more cutting edge than series 3. Another show on Showcase - for those not in the know It's set in a Brothel in Melbourne.

Big fan of Westerns so watched the whole first series about 4 months back. Sort it was ok, but not quite enough to watch any more.
