Hey Pessimistic? We're 4th ... you're last ... we have more to play for than get drawn into your football teams gutless antics. You may have been competitive if you actually played football ... but obviously such a notion is foreign to your club.

You won't have a team left next week as they'll get what they deserve. We have bigger fish to fry this season ... Hawthorn is only small game. An insignificant football club.

And I thought Nick's Collingwood Board was bad!

Have to agree with Superstar here. Hawthorn culitivated one theory I have about them (they are rubbish) but quashed another.

The Bombers were not keen on the fisticuffs, and the ones that were found themselves getting sat on their arse.

Justin Murphy should stick to getting outside footy and pooing his pants when the heat is on. Bout the only half decent thing Beumont has done.

But, when your supporters are over the moon 'cos their side actually looked like they cared for once, your in bad shape.

Why do you think that is the case Einstein? We have bigger fish to fry ... Hawthorn a nothing/insignificant football club. We play the Lions next Saturday night, we're in the top 4 ... Hawthorn have priority picks to look forward to ... the spoon is there for the taking!

Correction you'll lose to the Brisbane Lions next Saturday night, don't get to far in front of yourselves.

As Sam Newman said on today's radio, who has the filth beaten really? Lost to top 2 teams so really I wouldn't get too excitied.

Have to love on that forum when they state that Hay has to nullify Fevola for the Hawks to win ... there should be a poll on Bigfooty, who is the most over-rated and overpaid Full Back in VFL/AFL history? There are two of them, Jonathon Hay and Darren Gaspar!

And no one can match Nick's Collingwood Board when it comes to amusing threads...

Vandenburg was real tough sinking the fists and kness in while a guy was being pinned down. Why didn't he throw punches at McPhee when he stood up?

Because he was too busy punching Welsh and tossing him aside like a little bitch.:D

Give them some golves and throw them in a ring - Welsh would pants him. Welsh was too smart to throw any back as we have a game that actually counts this week. Try again.

Check the photos sweetheart.:D

Think about it. Essendon players have something to lose whereas the Hawks have already lost. If you honestly think Vandenberg could run with McPhee in an open ring you're kidding yourself. He would eat him alive.

Mark Johnson on SEN was told that Bereton had said Essendon have a new found respect for Hawthorn after that game.

Mark Johnson's response was pretty much

"He's kidding himself if he thinks that. You earn respect by the way you go about your footy...playing the way people like Archer play...if Hawthorn think they got respect by doing that and ending up 13 goals down, he's on the wrong wave length".

He also talked about how Essendon couldn't afford suspensions like hawthorn and how we were exploited becuase of this.

hawthorn now can't be accused of 'tanking games for picks' whatsoever. and at the same time they'll probably cost essendon a couple of grand and a few weeks worth of thier players time. 'respect' maybe not, but at least our integrity will be protected when we lose to the likes of carlton and the bulldogs (again)

...goes off like this:

Perhaps you need to watch the rabble of a fight again. 2 onto 1. One person holds McPhee down while Vandenberg gets into him.

Foolish.

That sums it all up in one line from a Hawk.

Read it again and think about it. ESSENDON DIDNT WANT TO GO THE HIT AND GET SUSPENDED.

That easy enough for you to understand?

Welsh fell soft to the ground from a jumper punch looking for a free or something. I laughed, as if a free would be paid for that after what hadjust happened.

Hawks were the little bitch as you put it :D 74 points mate... 74 points. Your team is less than a rabble, if they could get back to being a rabble it would be an immence improvement.

You really should be embaressed.

If you look closely you can just make out the Essendon supporters right at the very top. How is the view from up there guys?

A lot nicer than the view you've got, looking at the backsides of the other 15 clubs.

Game set match M Johnson.

According to an article in the Herald Sun today, since 2000, Essendon have been involved in more melees than any other team. At the end of last year, since the same time, they'd also had the most players lose games through suspension. Are they just unlucky?

Just wondering, too. What exactly was Mark Johnson doing to Hamill before the game against the Saints even started this year? I seem to recall some of the younger Saints being targetted as well.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Anyone who has the gall to suggest that Essendon had no part to play in what happened on Saturday needs their heads read. Johnson (Mark not Jason, because Jason IS a ball player) has been sniping away for years - Solomon too. Get real!

Check his record, does he hit people or wrestle?

Spot on.

Seems to have a dodgy memory too that Mark Johnson. Interested to hear how he'd classify his punch on Nick Holland on the weekend...or maybe Cambell Brown wiped his memory.:D
