Where Are They ?

Can somebody fill me in as to where a few are at, that I was hoping were going to show a bit, and take us to another level, especially improve our depth, yet have heard nothing of.

Connors, Edwards, Collard, Rance, Gourdis, Hughes, Reiwoldt and what's the go with McMahon, was my prediction that he is going to be the highest paid regular VFL player, looking to be correct ??

Ive gotta admit, it's got me %^$# why the likes of Casserley, connors and collard have not had a sniff throughout the praccy match series. I must have fallen off the lemon tree, somewhere along the line I thought thats what the pre season was all about

Richmond are desperate for a good start to the season and are and hoping to find the right combination against carlton thats why they havn't played the young guys, makes sense, shame for the boys not to get to wear their jumper.

Rance hurt his ankle. Its been giving him problems through the pre-season. Played in a Coburg Praccy match on the weekend, was good by all reports. My prediction is he'll play a few games this year.

Gourdis needs to work on his game endurance and disposal before getting a game but is working hard on it. Probably a Coburg season though.

Putt is raw, a young ruckman. Give him time, dont expect to see him in the seniors this year.

Edwards: Quad niggle having Terry and the boys play him at Coburg instead. In the best 22 for sure.

Collard: Not sure, was injured though.

Rance & Gourdis: See above.

Hughes: uh, well I dunno where he's at. Just not consistant enough and hasnt showed a lot to suggest he'll step up this season.

Reiwoldt: In line behind the rest of our forwards. He's learning. Probably another up and down year for Jack but more promising than Hughes imo.

Its been for 1 out of 4 quarters is what Ive read. Goes missing for the other 3.

The road is long for Hughes, but I do hope he gets there. He has the raw talent to, just has to apply it.
