I was in the same Form at High School as Jumping Jack Mihocek who wore No 8 for the Bombers after Des Tudenham went back to Collingwood.

Pig's AR$E it's easy! Must've been close to 200 VFL/AFL players come from Assumption by now and I'm no chance of typing them all down. Probably worth having it's own thread and getting ppl to post all the names of the old boys to get a snr afl/vfl game.

Was there when Aaron Hamil came down from Canberra to Melbourne. I also went to school at the same time as Koularotis at the St Marys the junior school (years 7-10)

I played a season under Jack in the Footscray District League in the 80's (86 or 87) and was delivered one of the most hilarious yet pathetically uninspired quarter time sermons from a coach (jack) in history.
To the huddle - "you're doing all right fellas, you're not getting a kick but you're doin' all right!"

It's weird that there were two players named Dion Miles playing AFL at the same time.There was one for North,spelt Miles.The other played for Sydney and was spelt Myles.
Or was it the other way ?

no AFL players to come out of Waverley College in Sydney, but one of our lesser rivals Shore have nurtured Lewis Robert-Thompson.
In Rugby Union however, there are plenty from the school - 3 of the current Wallabies squad went to Waverley (Owen Finegan, Morgan Turuniu and Adam Freier) as has Australia League Player Luke Ricketson.

I thought the Selwoods were twins??? thats seems a bit strange they didn't go to the same school
I spose so, I'm pretty sure I remember Fabian his brother going to my school cos he's my friends cousin. But I thought I read that he was discovered playing for Swanview high and went on to a different school from there, though maybe it was just for the local team.

Dipper went to my High School, and Peter Tsolakis (South Melbourne? in the NSL). I have a dim memory of an emergency PE teacher called Chris Connolly. He drove a couple of the girls to a sports meeting and sang along to the radio using a hairbrush as a microphone.
