Roosters. Surely we have suffered enough in the finals.
lol try finishing tops with a 17-3 record then losing the GF.... Then losing the GF again the year after socring only 32 points... Then getting kicked out of two finals in a row...THEN reaching ANOTEHR GF but alas, to lose by a measly 125 points.. Scoring only 28 points this time... THEN it was time for revenge... Another GF with the Centrals... Only losing by 28 points this time...

Please, Rooster fans have it lucky when it comes to the finals ;)

Well that was sad reminiscing :(

Can't say much for the new logo though

And in relation to my previous post, I in no way insinuated that the Roosters did not deserve to reach the GF.

Indeed, its just a copy of West coasts Logo...except crapper. I only realised the other day that the only Eagles logo contained the letter 'E' in it. haha.

Expect if for all SANFL teams which make finals. Even South pull suppr0t come finals.

Oh I don't know... I would be guessing if Port made the GF AAMI would be almost sold out. I know my entire Port-supporting side of the fam would be there.

the old 'I can't make it to both games' excuse pops up every now and then when we remind them they haven't been to a game since 1999

lol

Yeah I know last year wasn't pristine... And I know it was the 'luck' of the draw, but we had to play an inordinate amount of games at the end of the year at Adelaide Oval, which was the hardest ground of the year (From personal experience) and it had an obvious effect at the end of the year. The legs had no strength left by the end of the year...

And I know it can be painful, but IMO reaching the Grand Final should always be an aim. I wasn't unhappy that we didn't make it but I certainly was less happy that I would have been had we made it.

BUT 07 is gone... As we can do is wait and see where the future leads us. Excited by a few youngsters but I still fully expect us to be dependant of the old brigade for as long as possible.

Using Adelaide Oval as an excuse isn't really on.. look at North's final charge.
We played the final minor round game at Adelaide Oval and came from 50 points down to beat Sturt, then played three finals at Adelaide with two comebacks against the Eagles and a tough one versus the Dogs.

Didn't deserve to win so it wasn't an excuse... Just really annoyed me. Thoroughly outplayed in the Prelim, as I mentioned in another post

And we were totally ****ed by the Grand Final. I don't know that 4 (hard)games on Adelaide Oval is the ideal prepartion for the Grand Final. Mind you playing Central in the GF doesn't help.

So when 30,000 people turned up to the GF last year none of them were bandwaggoners? If Norwood or Sturt were to make the GF there would be just as many crows supporters in the same boat, get a grip on reality and don't turn this into a 'it's all pr0ts fault' thread

Hey I think I have been to enough shit Norwood games in the last six years to earn the right to be at a Legs GF, if I am still alive when it happens next :(

Back to the question, Centrals again just too well run compared to the other clubs. Just bloody hoping Norwood can make the finals, just make fifth FFS!

I agree. Centrals had a nice rest before the Grand Final (which they thoroughly deserved) and we had an extremely tough run in which definitely took it out of us. Not taking anything away from the Dogs as they did deserve the flag.

Aren't the SANFL changing back to a top 4??

Ofcourse every club has bandwagoners. I am just saying Port are going to have Major bandwagonage when they next make a GF.

I always go to the SANFL grand final, I go for Woodville, but I still went last year. I dunno if you call that bandwagon or not. And I am not blaming pr0ts?

Outplayed in the last 1 1/2 Q's. Eagles weren't fit enough. You could tell, nearly the whole team looked like they had heavy legs. Was depressing sitting there in the chappell stands.

I know that they are working alot harder on fitness this year, so I doubt we will see a repeat of that performance this year.

Bump for the middle of the season...

Not all things going to plan it seems :(

But nevertheless, some very entertaining football atm, lets just hope we keep away this SA AFL garbage the AFL is trying to push...

Still gonna pray for the Egles up top but yellow and black/Double blue look the goods... At the moment...
