When it comes to longevity, consistency, leading by example and willing a team to win, you cannot go past Selwood.

If you are looking at silky skills, then it’s Pendles.

One of them was arguably the third best player - behind two AFL all-time team candidates - for one of the greatest sides of all time.

Two others were the best (or second best once Franklin got to Sydney) in very good sides. Another is the best in a mediocre side.

Can't beat a career that contains three premierships. Joel Selwood isn't a flog. An example of non-flog behaviour is he goes out of his way to remember the names of all the players family members and greet them at the games.

Right. So everyone who has an opinion on anyone has met them. Sorry champ, sportspeople are in the public eye and get scrutinised. Some players are flogs, or come across as flogs in interviews etc, I get to have an opinion.
