I'm amazed that the OP thinks these two can be comparable. The 'family guy' episodes show how much better south park is than family guy (there are also a lot more other examples which back this up too)

The only word to describe Family Guy these days is terrible and I have seen every single episode up season 9 episode 12 which aired in the US yesterday.
It just is not funny anymore and hasn't been for the last 3-4 seasons.
South Park is s far ahead it is embarrassing for Family Guys writers.

Both of these shows are the shit!
South Park might take it as Randy marsh is the best character on tv. I laugh out loud at everything he does. I'm grinning as I type this.
Saying that, my wife hates South Park, cant watch it. She dislikes the Simpsons/Cleveland show and most other cartoons (like any normal 30 yo woman) but loves Family guy, I cant figure it out.

this isnt fair, you cant choose between them. Both are right up there with my all time fav shows.
Alot of people bag family guy even though its still one of the funniest shows ever made and south park is comedy gold.

South Park easily. Apparently the creators of SP get very snakey when people compare their show to Family Guy, they see The Simpsons as a more worthy comparison.
Early episodes of Family Guy are its best. IMHO American Dad is a much better show.

Only really like the first 3 seasons of Family Guy, American Dad is so much better and rate that as high as i do South Park, which lately has been hit and miss.
