Richmond, they should win more games this year and if Richo can emulate last years form he would definitely give it shake, maybe even Deledio, an extra year of experience under his belt, flashy enough yet consistent. Downside is with Foley and Cousins still dangerous the votes might be spread a little thin. Though that didn't stop West Coast and Geelong getting Brownlows.

Brisbane - Simon Black

Black is a proven vote getter and IF Brisbane make the 8, then I think BLack will win the Brownlow.

And I think we all know who will finish 2nd AGAIN.

I went with Richmond, as I think Deledio will win it. Another year experience under his belt, he's durable, he's learning to cope with tags, or gets played forward where he can kick a few goals.

I'd personally love for Ablett to win it. Think he was robbed of a few awards last year (Brownlow and Norm Smith).

I went with Geelong because Ablett, Bartel, Selwood and Corey are all decent chances. Other players I can see winning it are Black, Cooney, Judd, Deledio, Franklin (if he can boot 130 odd goals), Mitchell and Richo allthough that last one is rather optimistic.

hawthorn. Not being bias. We will get a remarkably better run fromt he umpires in 09, as all premiers do. This will allow the likes of Franklin and Sewell the 3 or 4 extra votes that will see them take it out.

If Buddy can keep his elbows down - he might be in with a chance!

Adam Goodes should be a definate - but I'm going with bias and saying the team will be Carlton (C. Judd on 32 votes).:thumbsu:

another myth. he was suspended for somethign that 3 other players in the season were dismissed for (player goes for bump, a 3rd player comes in and drags down player two, player 1 collects player 2 high)

It was sarcasm :thumbsu:

I saw the incident and thought he was very hard done by...but the rules for anything 'head high' last season was deemed as an automatic suspension (except for Goodes' hip hitting that bloke to the head, can't remember who it was on) if it was intentional or not!

I am 100% sure Richmond or Hawthorn don't have a chance. Hawthorn's closest chance of getting it is Buddy and if so then he's going to have to kick over 120 goals and get some more ball possession. Richo is far too old to even come close and Deledio's skills are still a level or two below Abblet, Cooney, Selwood, Judd etc.

I'm putting my money on Geelong as they have two big contenders, Abblet and Selwood. Abblet for his sweet skills and dodging ability and Selwood due to the fact that he played outstanding this year, now he has even more experience up his sleeve, he's going to be smashing.

im really struggling to see who can beat Judd this year. Without biased here, this is his 1st full pre-season in 2 years, another pre-season with his new side who will be better equipped to use him to our/his best advantage...

Ablett and Selwood are obvious dangers, as is Griffen from the Bulldogs

Sam Mitchell and Brad Sewell are both pretty decent chances. And Buddy could very well kick 120 next year, he only fell 7 short this year.

Although your right that Deledio hasn't got the skills of someone like Ablett, you don't need to be as skilled or the best to win it. Look at Cooney. How often does the best player really win the brownlow? From memory the only player this decade to get the AFLPA MVP and the Brownlow in the same year was Cousins.

I'll say Hawthorn. Mitchell, Sewell and Hodge should all poll quite well providing they stay injury free. Geelong & the Bulldogs are major contenders also.
