Which two teams will most likely to break into the eight in 2010?

For 2 teams to break into the top 8, 2 teams have to drop out, perhaps that's another topic however!!!!!!

For mine Hawthorn are almost certainties and the Sydney players are likely to try and give Roos a good send off, so that would be my two.

Don't rate the Eagles.
There are at least 9 or 10 teams that are better than them hence can't see them making the 8 unless injuries play a big part.

The OP is about which teams are likely to break into the 8.

If WCE is one of them, then there can only be 7 others left, not "9 or 10".

And please dont suggest that Fremantle is one of them, as you've already made a fool of yourself. :thumbsu:

To say Port, North, and Sydney are more likely to play finals than Essendon is a joke in itself. As far as i'm concerned at least 2 of those 3 will be bottom 4 certs along with my club.

Sorry let me explain in case you can't grasp it.
There are 9 or 10 teams in the competion that I consider to be better than West Coast so on that basis in my view I see them finishing 10th or 11th. In other words they would not be one of the teams to push into the 8

Hawks for sure, hangover gone and hunger will be back
Eagles - good young list, i reckon they will be back in the 8 for quite some time

Have to agree with the assessment of Hawthorn, but not WCE. I expect Swans to rebound. They have more than adequately covered their losses. Carlton & Essendon to NOT make it.

Hawthorn and North.

Hawks are the obvious ones.

North have argubly the easiest draw for 2010, and if they can get a full season out of Wells and Harvey, I think they'll surprise a lot of people and just sneak in. Had a pretty good finish to 2009 also.

Carlton and Essendon to drop out.

I pity you, fool.

I read it as a statement not rating the Eagles and they will finish around 10th or 11th (because 9 or 10 teams are better than them ). It is fair enough as there has been a lot of love for them.

I think Freo has a better chance of making the 8 than WC. Cox is underdone - will Nic Nat be able to hold the ruck on his own? Can Kerr take the number one tag this year? Will he still have injury problems? Will he get suspended for 8 weeks? Wirra has retired.

Hawks or Sydney, West Coast have a very good draw apart from rd1 and rd 22 so expect them to be there abouts. But they can't afford to lose too many home games.

Yikes. Firstly, Cox is underdone right now, but he's resumed training with the main group and will be ready for Round 1. Naitanui led the ruck for the second half of 2009 and did an outstanding job considering he had no preseason and missed half the year. This year he's injury-free and getting bigger.

Kerr will still struggle with the number one tag, but guys like Masten, Ebert and Swift should step up to either take the tag or a least pick up the slack. Dunno if he'll be injured- will Palmer? Will Haselby?

Lastly, Wirra will leave a big gap in defense, but he spent a lot of his time in attack last year and his retirement won't be the massive blow it would have been three years ago.

West Coast will finish above Freo, bet on it. :)

Whats with the last paragraph rubbish, if you havnt notice our winning streak near the end of the season had no Cox or Kerr in the side. Having them will only benefit the team.

Sense of jealousy? I pity you, fool.
