seeing that Buckley's position is hanging by the strings at the moment, who are the next wave of assistant coaches who could potentially land a senior coaching role.
For me , i think brendan bolton is going to be one hell of a coach.

Id say lingy's name will get thrown around a bit too...
Wouldn't surprise me to hear sumich and kirk's names put forward either

Kirk couldn't seriously be a senior coach could he?

Highly doubt Buckley's position is under any threat tbh.

What makes you think Bolton is "going to be one hell of a coach"?

you dont understand how bad we have fallen ever since bucks has taken over. i would say 3 yrs is enough time for a coach to make his mark on the team, bucks coaching and his selections are appalling to say the least.

Bolton looks like a coach who has all the tools to make a team play at the highest standard.

They are some pretty thick strings. Buckley is still Buckley's chance of being fired before next year.

Freo - Kirk
Sydney - Dew
Hawthorn - Bolton

Geelong are a bit exhausted for numbers are their long term assistants all got jobs. Port will start spitting out names but not for another 12 months.
Simon Goodwin from Essendon will attract interest especially if the ASADA stuff gets resolved. Leigh Tudor surely if he's keen to be a senior coach.

And I think Brett Ratten surely deserves at least some interviews.

I'd say Malthouse would also be hanging by a thread right now.

He just isn't making carl look good off the field... cant see many coaches being able to make them look good on the field with their current list, but I would guess that his position is almost less secure than bucks (who for the record I think is a terrible coach).

But he has shown previously that he can rebuild a list.
