I'd like to hear what you guys think about clubs selections and who could potentially become A-Grade players. I chose mainly midfielders because they are the ones that usually are classed as elite. IMO Whitfield will definitely become elite, if Plowman moves to the centre he will be amazing, Macrae and Stringer will be great, and as a bit of a smokey I think Lonergan could become a good tough mid for Gold Coast in the years to come.

Daniher is the only player that I think will become top 5 in his discipline.

Viney perhaps as a pure inside mid.

There's no other mids in this draft I see becoming top 5 material.

As for the KPP's/flankers types, who knows? It all depends on development and how their clubs play them.

Hopefully Vlastuin for us - from what I've read is very competitive and driven.

From the others, Whitfield, Daniher, Wines, Toumpas and Menzel (if injuries don't hurt his progress).

Not knocking Daniher as I've never seen him play beyond a three minute highlight video, but I'll be keeping a close eye on his career and whether he ever becomes a top 50 player.

Has similar height, weight, and described as a mobile forward who can ruck and would've gone number one in an open draft. Inevitably, I make a comparison between him, Kreuzer, and Josh Fraser who both had these descriptions bandied about and suffice to say, aren't anywhere near top 50 footballers.

He's really the only player I'm interested in following at this stage.

Except Daniher is a Key Forward, just like Hanson is, was, should have been, could have been, but isn't.
