To be fair with guys of his generation, the SANFL would have been the main thing back in the day so its entirely possible that his team never made it to the AFL.

Cometti is dyed in the wool West Perth. He played for them in 60s and then coached them in the 80s. He never really chose an AFL side, even though he was once on the Footscray list. When pushed he’ll usually say Melbourne because they wear the same colours as West Perth but that he also has a soft spot for Fremantle.

Huddo is excellent , one of the best .

Whately is great with cricket calling but his footy calling has slipped .He has become preachy especially over the past 12-18 months.
Is overrated IMO
