Yep.

Finals tix and game day functions etc are all controlled by the Gestapo . err AFL. $$ flow back to club's via the annual distribution (see we do support those lowly welfare dependant clubs such as Carlton, Richmond, St Kilda, Essendon etc).

Extra match payments etc come out of our petty cash draw. Luckily we don't play finals interstate, otherwise we'd have those extra costs to cover.

AFL pay the player bonuses for finals but doesn't cover club operating expenditure.

Don't worry, the benefits of the finals experience in terms of exposure is worth 1000x what it costs the club. Also a strong finals performance and good ratings might see us get a better schedule for 2008, although I wouldn't hold my breath.
