I am and I'm quite excited about it

I've been to a few interstate games but never one involving Carlton so it should be a great experience.

got a 6am flight on friday morning.....cant wait.....went to the Blues V Kangas match there 2 years ago and had great time!

Was looking to try and get up there for months but it didn't fall through.
Again, did anyone notice the thread in The Blue Room about a meet up in Perth, and instead some of you guys were going to choose to go up to Carrara instead?
I'll be trying to go to the Brisbane game at the Gabba in a month's time instead.

Yep... I'm heading up with some of the lads. One of which is a mad freo supporter so hoping to make it a very very long trip home for him.

Last interstate game I went to was to Freo V Blues in Perth a couple of years ago and we got pumped by 80 odd points so hoping to improve on that! Same supporter mentioned above served it up to me relentlessly so hopefully revenge will be oh so sweet.

I'm like 99% it will be Bryce Gibbs' 50th game. i could be wrong, but he's only missed one game in 3 years so this week should be his 50th.
so if it is.. Congratulations to him and i hope he has a great game

You're right - it is his 50th. When's the last time we've had a player play so many games at such a young age? Think Walker was about the same age when he played his 50th, maybe a month or so older. Hopefully Gibbs has a better next fifty than Walker's had...

I live only a few minutes from the ground. Will be there with my son, will be having a few drinks at the Emeralds lakes Golf Club which is just a short walk across the road to the ground.
Good place to have a quiet few before the game. Lots of supporters head there before the game. Atmosphere is great.
Living on the Gold Coast now dont get to see the Mighty Blues often so when they are up here always there. Go Blues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be there for sure! It worked out well as Gippsland Power are playing Gold Coast in the curtain raiser to the Carlton v Fremantle game. As I am Gippslands Physio I'll be there anyway. The schedule worked out perfectly.

i am the same, but ticketek/ticketmaster said there are no walkups with AFL membership.......now i dont know whether to beleive them or not but got tickets anyway to ensure i could get in.....best bet is to call the AFL membership office!!!
