West Coast got two bargains with Oscar Allen and Liam Ryan. Both best value from that list.

Fritsch at 31 was a good bargain for us

Worpel, McCartin, Ryan, Balta, Allen & Baker all very good to great bargains too
Agreed

Fritsch is somewhat underrated by non Dees fans imo. Close to BOG against Geelong I thought.

Because he kicked straight for a change

His frustration from Melbourne fans is he does everything right but just fails to capitalize on easy chances. Once he fixes that up (like he did on Sunday) he will be really good

It amazes me how courageous he is and how many contested marks he takes, given hoe he is built like a stick.

He must be a lot more physically strong than he looks.

he defiantly isn't scared to put his body on the line, that is for sure

It's so strange. It's to the point that I'm more confident in a Fritsch miss than a goal when he plays us. If he didn't bungle the massive amount of chances he gets (at least when he plays us) I swear he'd be kicking 4+. Always seems to get off the chain and fail to capitalise.

One of the AFL's 'almost' stars for me.

Looking back we did pretty well in this draft. Brander finally starting to show some positives while Allen and Ryan have looked great. Even Petch has his moments.

Pick 67 kicked 3 goals in the final quarter on Sunday to defeat the Giants. Has now kicked 20 goals this season and only 25 games into his career. Looking like a serious long term prospect Dylan Moore.

Based on the engineered criteria of 'below top 10', there's a few great pickups. In no particular order: Fritsch, Taylor, Kelly, Balta, Bailey, Ryan, Baker (rookie), Mihocek (rookie) all could be considered 'steals' relative to the position they were taken.

Unfortunately the OP's original intention when creating this thread hasn't quite worked out.

How is Zac Bailey not an option. Would be top 5 in this draft for sure

Are you really a steal if you are drafted in the first round though?
I'd argue a player taken at 15 who has shown to be top 5 is significantly more of a steal than a player taken 40+ who is worth around the 20 mark. That would also be reflected in any club trading picks to move between said draft positions too.

On the comparison I do agree

How the * is Worpel winning by so much?
Thread was from 2019. Worps had an absolute blinder of a season that unfortunately he hasn't come close to replicating since.
Votes from 2019 would be vastly for him, and rightly so.
