Who was the worst vocalist - linda mccartney or yoko ono?

Singing was neither womens best trait. But Linda did have some fine moments harmonising in the background with Paul. On her own her voice was grating but she was human and gave it a shot. Think of how she was thrown into the band by her hubby.

Hands of Love, I Am Your Singer, Long Haired Lady, So Bad, the list goes on nice use of her harmony singing

Yoko ain't my cup of tea, if you can call it singing, passed off as avent garde wailing screeching etc. She probably has earnt alot of respect for her music, something Linda never got.

Bottom line, these women were nothing more than support for their husbands.

I've seen that movie "Fly" which is like a woman asleep and a fly landing on different parts of her completely naked body. A lot of people walked out of the screening before it finished - maybe thinking it's a corpse. I think all the fly sounds are actually Yoko singing. It's pretty cool. So I guess this a :thumbsu: for Yoko and by default a vote for Linda.

Tough question but I'll go Yoko as she sang when shecwasn't supposed to and to have the audacity to sing with some of the greatest singers, takes a lot of ego.

Putting up with either shows exceptional toughness and patience, but Yoko Ono is horrific. Add the fact she felt the need to tell other (much, much better) musicians what to play in the studio and she's pretty hard to surpass.
