Who will we be going for? Saints or Cats?

Every Collingwood supporter should be going for Geelong over St Kilda.

Number 1 reason - 1972, Jim O'Dea St Kilda player leaves our star player John Greening in a coma for days battling for his life after being king hit behind play.

Number 2 reason - St Kilda have 26 wooden spoons for being an incompetent useless organisation. Do they deserve a flag? Hardly!

Number 3 reason - St Kilda are a rival Melbourne club. At least Geelong is based far away.

So simply Geelong is the lesser of two evils this time.

Forgot number 4 - Beat Pies by a point for their only flag.

Me either mate, were out so i couldnt give a rats tossbag who wins.
I just hope our guy's take note of what it takes to win a GF. And watch the winners celabrate and I hope it burns a f**ken hole in their hearts which they can then transform into their own form next year.

Geelong. The natural order needs to be restored with St.Kilda at the bottom bleating and wasting space. I want the only image of their only GF win to be Darrel Baldock holding the cup aloft and wearing a Collingwood jumper - eat it Saints!

On Friday night as I munched at my dinner in Richmond, I watched families upon families of neatly-pressed 'Boys from Brazil' clones all marching to the game in hats and scarves that looked like they'd just had the plastic taken off them and the price tags removed. All smug because they were No. 1. Freakin bandwagoners for a team full of tip rats.

On Saturday night the Cats supporters were just unbearably smug, and the team that I used to respect (was genuinely upset for them in 2004 and despite 2007 prelim I was hugely impressed by them) has now turned into a bunch of FIGJAMs. When Geelong fall apart like the Lions did I'll be so happy.

I have as much interest in Grand Final day as I did when Brisbane played Port. I shall be taking in other gentlemanly pursuits that day.

Football for '09 can go to hell.

One team will be SHATTERED, and that will make me a little happy because both of this pissy little clubs beat us in finals, so I can't bring myself to go for either team.

If you put a gun to my head, I'd say Geelong, just because they won one 2 years ago and I'd like the Saints to fail yet again.

I'm a little too annoyed at both sets of supporters with the behaviour they showed after beating us, and will not support either side with any fervour at all.

I'll tell you how interested I am in the AFL grand final, probably before the game even finishes, I will be out the door on my way to watch my second ever Rugby League match, just because Billy Slater, Greg Inglis and Cameron Smith are of more interest to me then Riewoldt or Ablett.

Football 09 is over, I don't care about it anymore, bar tomorrow night and the brownlow, go swanny, make Junior cry again.

St Kilda for me for the following reasons:

The Geelong supporters I know are incredibly cocky so would like them to get a dose of reality.

Geelong won one recently and the Saints have only won the one flag in their history.

It would be funny for Geelong to only win one flag in this period of total dominance

Next year Geelong will start to fade but the Saints could still be dominating. If St Kilda win they may lose some hunger which means that Collingwood may have a better chance for the flag.

i want geelong to win.

reason one: saints' supporters annoy me
reason two: don't want milne to ever have a premiership medal
reason three: jimmy bartel plays for geelong, he's such a babe...

Given the weather prediction of rain - Geelong.

Saints need it dry to have a chance.

Haha, Rain will make the GF even worse as far as a spectacle goes, with Stkilda trying to shut the game down Sydney style, thanks to Ross "monotone" Lyon.

Saints, because I'll never forgive Geelong for 2007 and for last night.

I second that Snag.

It's not really that I blame Geelong, they've been the better team, but twice now at the same time of the season they've forced sheer disappointment on me.

Secondly, I like going for the underdog. I think that Geelong is the better team and their goalkickers (chappy and johnson) have come back nicely from injury - they're ready to win.
