A lot of people rag on Boozer but he is a pretty handy player. We kind of have a lot of handy players. Booze, Deng, Noah... now Hinrich and Robinson. We need Rip to stay healthy and average about 15ppg. Should still win our Division.

Reckon you guys did the right thing in sacrificing a bit of bench depth in view of Rose's injury. You've kept the core (Deng, Noah, Gibson), and you still have the amnesty up your sleeve.. by the time Rose is healthy again, you may well be in a position to jettison Boozer and/or Hamilton and sign a quality player/s in their stead.

Not a stretch at all :p

A grade defensive player just needs to work on his post game. The Jazz are quietly doing there thing.

Looking forward to a healthy Eric Gordon also.
I have been picking Favours for a while, Love his game and a massive coup getting him out of the D-Will trade.
Game time will be his biggest problem though.

Don't preach a healthy Eric Gordon to a Hornets fan, just seems cruel

I think Indiana will be happy with Green and Mahinmi coming off the bench, they'll both play a lot of productive minutes.

Utah has half a team full of players (Favors, Kanter, Hayward, Burks) who seem poised to take a step up. Agree that Marvin Williams is a good fit for this team.

Houston won't regret signing Asik, but missed a trick on Dragic. Denver will be hoping Gallinari pushes 20 ppg this season, no reason he can't.

Carl Landry could score a lot of points on that Golden State team (6th man OTY potential). James Johnson might help Sacramento a lot. Eric Gordon could/should average 25 ppg if he actually stays healthy.

Landry is a great fit for the Warriors, although I think Jarret Jack suits that team beautifully also I rate his 6MOY potential over Landry.

RE: Eric Gordon, He could very easily hit the 25ppg mark only playing 9 games again this season. Potential trade deadline trade for mine if not healthy. :(

Jack is perfect low-cost, low-risk insurance for them (Curry)- Landry could average a point a minute on a team with that many lethal shooters. Keeping Brandon Rush, drafting Barnes.. if Bogut stays healthy they should win 45 games, that is a f$%# talented team.

Gordon is a very good (almost complete) offensive player who also happens to be a very naughty (dopey) boy- he's a wonderful talent to pair with Davis, they compliment each other's talents perfectly. The problem with trading him is that we need to receive a similar offensive threat in return- we're going to suck in half-court offense without him :( He even makes Aminu-as-a-starter almost work..

Wish we'd made a run for Dragic- that would be a fun backcourt- then maybe his heart would've remained in New Orleans..

Big baby will have an awesome year with no Dwight. Eric Gordon will become elite. Aldridge will continue on his breakout last year and become top 5 PF in the league.

What's your take on Austin Rivers?

That he'll be learning on the job.. for better or for worse :) He's got nice handles, but that shot needs work..

If he can develop a jump shot, then he'll stick, even if it's as a 6th man combo guard rather than a capable point guard.

Dont understand the love for fragile Eric Gordon made of glass imo and was injured all preseason iirc does not bode well for future.

He has all the tools- creates his own shot, handles the ball very well, gets to the free throw line, can shoot from range, is relatively clutch.. and is reportedly a good defender too.

He'll be option 1A and 1B in the Hornet offense this season- IF he's healthy, he'll score a ton of points.. IF..

Go on..

#2 Draft pick who never lived up to college hype. A fresh start, a new system that suits him where he will start, wing defender/ 3 point go to man that we needed. Not saying he will breakout into a superstar but I see him having his best season. Call me an optimist :p

On your logic Darko is going to break out. The guy sucks. Plain and simple.

If Griffin has got himself a mid-range jumper he'll be unstoppable. Carmelo was doing some work with him at the Olympics so hopefully he learnt something.

Oh Darko and the Pistons. Could have taken Melo, Wade, Bosh... Has they taken Melo like they should have, he would already have a title. Would have been great coming off the bench in his rookie season as the Pistons won the title.
