Jack acted on behalf of CFC as the president, he paid the money to keep the victims quiet and protect the name of the players and the club.

But now the mobsters want to give him a Sicilian neck tie.... GO FIGURE

Elliott did a lot of things on behalf of the club that members weren't happy with and eventually it got his arsed sacked. Again, how Big Jack receives exemption but the club becomes a rapist has yet to be explained in any adequate measure.

There would be a stack of clubs up to their necks in this sort of stuff going back over the years. Same with salary cap breaches and inter-club wife cheating - as if Carey was the only guy to getting up to this mischief.
