Long story short, it wasn't our fault. Really.

Our various servers are Load Balanced. Our hosts Load Balancer crashed, and it took them five hours to get it back up. Unfortunately, while it was crashing, people were reading and writing from our database, so the db got slightly corrupted. We had to manually repair each table in the db of BigSoccer and BigFooty, and now here we are, tired, but solved. While our new setup is multiply redundant, it didn't cross our or our hosts mind what would happen if his LB died. He didn't have a plug and play backup solution, so they had to reprog the LB as well.

Please report any strangeness and we will attempt to address.

Thanks for your patience.

Ahh I thought something must've been happening, a few times last night, when I'd refresh a page I'd get the banner at the top of the page and nothing else, and it was lagging a little.
But it sorted it self out in the end, no hassles.
