His match-sim efforts looked to have peaked after he demonstrated classy poise to hesitate and then chip a kick flawlessly to Tim Membrey which was lauded by teammates who ran over to give the 18-year-old a pat on the back

That was the highlight of all the footage I watched.
Showed Will’s class but also TM’s timing on the lead.

Something you wouldn’t have heard from Collingwood last year, Hayes chip kicking it to Tim Membrey. Hopefully both feature this year.

There’s not much of him, so he must have a huge amount other other attributes just to get himself drafted, the small training stuff we’ve seen looks impressive, hits the right spot at speed, clean hands, moves well, touch of the X factor, could be a good watch as he builds into his career.
