If the league are serious about a div 3, the first thing they should do is get there hands dirty and work with the struggleing clubs such as Heid West and help them develop a plan for not only survival but for future prosperity. I`m sure if the League put there hand up to help then perhaps those who have been grinding away so long at West may see some light at the end of a very dark tunnel.

I really hope Heidelbergs 2's can get over Panton Hill this week. After playing against them and seeing the commitment they still put in week after week they deserve at least some reward however small it may be.

Well done to the Heidelberg West's 2's. Great to see that the supporter/volunteers and players got to sing the song in 2008. Dunno how they managed a 125 point win though?...Shout out to T. Workman, well done mate 4 goals 3 behinds, scored more than Panton Hill's total...Hopefully these clubs will benefit from this Division 3 being brought in.

Good to see our two's got a win, pretty upsetting that we could not back them up in the 1's.

Maybe some of you blokes should just lay off us, its not easy losing every week but we are all very commited and didnt wanna leave and quit during the yr we stuck at it and i think its a credit to us, shows real character.

we will come good one day.

Thought id bring up the topic again, although my opinion is biased i think we will win a few this year.

some new faces and alot of boys on the training track...

will West get there first win in nearly 3 years????

yes wallan are still terrable. i think they have something like 3 or 4 wins and 1 draw which is prob more then what they would of won in the NFL. the thing that is going to save wallan but is that they have a junior club and in the long run they should be able to bounce back and rebuild.
kinglake on the other hand are going real good in there new comp. winning games and i think they are in the top half of the ladder. good move made by kinglake.
to bad thing for heidelberg west is they have no where else to go. div 3 will give them a chance of building a good team but without juniors the future doesnt look good for them.
heidelberg being so close to them wouldnt help either. who wants to go to a struggling team that cant and wont win a game when the best team in the league are right accross the road
in the 2 years since kinglake left the nfl they played finals in the first year and last year lost the granny by a goal after only losing 2 games for the year. great move to join a league with sides in similiar situations as them have also recruited a lot of ex nfl players. unfortunately for heidelberg west there is nowhere else for them to go. do hope the have a better year ,no one wants to see clubs not win any games

Thanks mate, your right with us not being able to go anywhere but saying that the club is more financially sound compared to previous years and there is also a lot of new faces down there helping out, divy 3 will really help us rebuild...

Good thing is we'll be the fittest we've been for as long as I've been playing. Hopefully we can get a good start to the year and try to shift that losing mentality from the back of our minds! WiB!
