Lynch is going to be hard as Gold Coast will have cash to match anyone's offer, so if you want him will most likely need to trade

People keep saying this, but if Suns finish bottom 2-4(odds on), they’re not going to turn their back on a compo Pick 2,3 or 4 for a chance at getting a club to work on a bunch of trades to give them a first rounder.

They’d be pretty silly to do so, especially in this draft with so many key talls.

Suns list manager won’t be throwing away the opportunity to land 2 picks inside the top 5 of this draft.

I trust you, Abasi

My family have known the Sloanes for 25 years, used to holiday with them and still catch up regularly.
Can tell you that he will either re-sign at Adelaide or sign at StKilda.
The entire family are still die hard Saints fans that also have to support Adelaide now.
He’s not interested in Collingwood due to their poor culture & it’s a 2 club race in his mind of where to sign. Fairly certain he’ll be the captain at either club he signs with also. Sorry guys, it’s not happening.

Let’s hopefully get Lynch or Gaff as Sicily does what McGovern can and he’s body isn’t as shot as Jeremy’s is.

Not doubting your connection but it seems odd that he doesn’t like 1 teams culture but is happy to go to St Kilda!

Sloane family are big saints people, was genuinely flat when he wasn’t drafted there. Saints culture is a hell of a lot better than it used to be and miles ahead of where Collingwoods is.

Saints can also offer more $$

If the suns finish in the bottom 2 - 4 then they automatically end up with one of the top 5 draft picks.
Free agency would give them a first rounder only. Surely a trade would nett 2 first rounders so by trading they would end up with 3 first rounders and free agency 2.
Also you forgot that Tony Coch(ead)rane would want to have his 2 cents worth.

If the suns finish bottom 2-4 they will be given a Pick directly after their first due to the contract offers directed at Lynch, like Melbourne received for Frawley.

Any list manager worth their money is not going to turn their back on two picks in the top 5 for a chance at two picks in the top 10-16.

Not interested in Sloane personally, but the Pies certainly are.

Gaff Gaff Gaff Gaff. Impey helps, but we desperately need more outside pace and class. Jager won't ever get his full explosiveness back, and Titch and Shielsy are great inside mids but need someone to extract to when Isaac Smith has the clamps put on him. Andrew Gaff is that player.

You're shorting the trade side of the equation. Top five pick plus two first rounders...
The whole “they’ll match, then you’ll have to find two first rounders” is a spook story.

As I keep saying, no list manager is going to turn their back on 2 picks inside 5 in the hope that this club can go away, work same magic and find them 2 first rounders, especially in this draft where the top end talent is said to be absolutely top shelf and other clubs are going to be very keen to keep their pick and take it to the draft.

2 first rounders being traded is a pipe-dream.
