Will the Swans gift the Hawks a premiership like Geelong did?

Oh Darling doesn't share the hatred for Hawf I'm guessing.

No I just didn't think Sydney were the best team for the year. It was one of those seasons where an undeserving side would get a good run with injuries or get a soft finals draw like Sydney had and fluke a flag.

I mean seriously, Sydney Swans premiers? LOL!! The fact that next year they would be on about 4th line of betting to win the flag... tells you how good they really are.

We were good enough to flog your mob at Subi, and if the comp is so shit, what does that make your team?

It makes us one of the teams that were struck down by injury and will be premiership favourites next year. Your mob won't be.

Don't worry just like the crows flags nobody will remember a few years from now.

Easily the worst Grand Final winners since 1996 and 1997.

^^This. Swans of 2012 will be remembered as a team that got lucky against a better side having an off day (much like Hawthorn 2008), not a true champion side.

Swans 2005 >>>>>> daylight >>>>>> swans 2012.

The Hawks were incredibly overrated this year. They were nowhere near as good as what people believed. The Swans timed their run well and played a better finals series, which usually translates to winning the GF.

The comp was not as strong as previous years, but the Swans did well to capitalise.

Haha don't think swans even care about the line of betting next season right at this point. They have just won a premiership for the second time in 7 years... full credit to them. Still have to play the game for 4 quarters regardless of who is the best over the season.

Too bad Richmond haven't been able to fluke a flag in 30 years. You can do no more than be the best team in the year you play, something your mob hasn't been able to do for a while

You're just a flog really, you were missing 2 forwards when we played you, and we smashed your limp midfield, suck an egg

I guess I understand what you guys are saying now.

Still, I'm happy for them because they beat the flag favourites despite having teammates hobbling and a pretty raw run with the umpires. They mightn't be the absolute best team or most talented list, but got it done on the day and it's a credit to them.

And yes, gives us lulz over the Hawks ;)
