Will WC catch us on a downer after the high of last week?

I'd really like to say that we'll take it up to you guys and push you, but it's too early to tell if we're on a small recovery or not. We've been threatening the last few weeks to put 4 quarters together and finally last week we did. If Kerr and Waters make it back into the team this week then obviously that will bolster us a little more. But Collingwood did put on an awesome display last week against the Cats which if they turn it on again, will blow us out of the water. But I'm hoping the Pies worked themselves up a little too much for last week and will be a tad lethargic this week. We shall see. Hopefully will be a good game! :thumbsu:

Confidence is a big thing and both teams would have some.

I still think the fact that we beat the 'unbeatable' and you guys are travelling might have an effect on the outcome BUT I would never put my house on Collingwood beating anyone so I'll be as nervous as any other week come game day. :p

No WCE won't catch us on a downer. We should smash the Eagles and expose them for the rabble they are. The win against Geelong is the starting point for us to create unassailable momentum. From here on in we will leave the competition in our wake.

trolling attempt well done, reall "fine" effort.

We may also catch the eagles on a downer as well, the had a big and surprising win against the croes. So it works both ways

no shit bloben, maybe you guys are classier than people give you credit for.
more posts from poxxy or posts to that affect i think they might appear.

Although i did read a viagra one soem where along the line

This game, it scares me. This is the type of game we lose, we win one game against a top side then lose the next week to a side that is struggling. Should be fun though, I will be sitting in my normal seat hoping for the Pies to carry on their form from last week.

It's a shame that this even comes to mind . But our recent history suggests these are exactly the types of games we lose .

Mind you WC are a much better side than this years record shows .

i agree jimmy.

we have the list of a top 8 side but played like shit throughout the early part of the season. showed some form last week and won easily against a side thats also up there.

will be a very interesting game, not really sure whats going to happen. im praying we dont get smashed.

Sadly I think our young players won't come close to the Pies pressure if its even half what they applied to Geelong last weekend. I just finished watching that game last night and really one thing stood out and that was pressure and more pressure.

Our guys even with out pressure tend to make alot of errors and hand ball into trouble too often, although leg speed is there and KPP are not the problem it used to be I feel our best game isn't up there yet with Collingwoods best game.

I just hope the Pies are flat and can't find enough motivation to replicate last week's effort against us and evevn then we would have to be lucky. Tha being said we have turned around and our worst is behind us with a mini rebuild having just been completed.

I hope it's a ripper. How's Glass holding up? he seems to be a bit underdone at the moment. And is it usual for Cox to get 70% TOG?

glass has actually been going alright lately, copped a cork last week but played on and had a good game. his defending is getting near to his best.

i think you could probably pencil cox in for 80% TOG in the ruck. especially with no backup ruckman he'll be shouldering the majority of the load.

lynch will have to back up, hes no mug in terms of being a 2nd ruckmen. usually provides a contest and can get his hands on the ball.
