very tempting considering he is not even in the extended bench and the chad has a BE of about 55, i say yes but only becasue i don't have chad

He'll be back in the Richmond seniors sooner rather than later and I'd back him to return to his DT scoring best.

Exactly. He's a proven DT superstar who is going through a rough patch.
IIRC he was dropped early last season too. He came back and ended up being one of the highest scoring defenders with an average well into the 90s. I'm expecting much the same this year.
Trade him at your own peril.

Chad has a BE of only 57, and this may well be the last chance to grab him (and i got a 0 due to SDT and Edwards not playing with Bowden)
ATM, i am 5K short of Bowden>Cornes
My only real option is to trade N.Jones to Prismall and use the cash there (but will Prismall get a regular game?) at least Prismall can score well, and lets face it Jones aint doing what we thought he would.
Edit: i could also trade wonna in for one of edwards or SDT and use the 10K to go Bowden> Cornes if i wanted

Apart from his past history, the assertion that he'll be a gun again this year can also be taken with a grain of salt at this stage. Some people are taking a gamble and dropping him, though I'd hope they're doing it for reasons other than he got dropped last week.
A lot of people seem to beleive that the way Richmond are playing this year will mean that Bowden isn't going to be the DT machine he once was. As always, only time can tell the real outcome of this debate.

Missing two weeks of football at senior level does not justify trading a proven gun out.
Wallace is sending him and the team a message.
Richmond will probably get mauled this week by the doggies and he will be straight back in.
I am hoping a lot of Bowden owners trade him out... they will simply be trading him back into their teams in 4 - 5 weeks.
Ask me again once you actually get Bartel, Mitchell and BJ.
Stupid trade. 100 options for keepers in the midfield - only 10 or so in the backs. And you've just gotten rid of one of them for a rookie.

At the moment I'm holding onto him with the belief that he'll come back into the seniors and return to his best form, however if he does come back in and is still struggling then the chop will come.
after Terry Wallets interview today, it looks increasingly more unlikely that Bowden will get called up.
Im starting to hate Richmond beccause of this stupid coach...2 weeks is border but 3 weeks is criminal...im gonna be laughing if Joel Bowden breaks a leg..

5500 people jumped off him and now only 9890 DT coaches own him. Sorta become a unique pick. Hopefully come season end I still have him after he averages 95 for the rest of the season....
