Egg-smith was excellent. He looks like he has what it takes to make it at afl level.

PppppppppppppfffffffftttttttttGuru old son....when we are trying to wrest the upper hand in a difficult rivalry, we do not compliment them, their history or especially their home ground. It is difficult enough to conjure insults for Williamstown without the likes of you coming along and interfering with well balanced and sensible commentary.
Not sure, was working missed the gameLoved playing footy and cricket there it’s a hidden gem.
What was Towner’s role today for anyone who got there?
Definitely is windy,, thanks for the report,, think Naishy might debut this weekAgreed but gee it’s windy. Great win today, often returned from it after being defeated so that makes a nice change.
Very physical clash even to the end. Best for me we’re RCD, Naish and Townsend for his off the ball work and physicality. Spent some time near the coaches bench and noticed how thin Naish is, needs some more muscle but even as he is now he’d provide more value than Menadue.

Anyone at the game, how did Miller go. Named in the best as a back I'm assuming.
I thought his spoiling efforts in contests were very good. He played very tight all day and intercepted well on a few occasions. I am not sure if lack of pace will be a problem but he did break away from congestion a few times and looked ok. I think he will be encouraged to use his strength and back himself in more often as the season continues.Anyone at the game, how did Miller go. Named in the best as a back I'm assuming.
Think he might be a sneaky chance to debut round 10 dream time at the GThe quote on the game summary on our website is that he is showing “AFL standard poise and precision “
Great effort by the egg from where he was at with his game last year. I think a fair bit of it is to do with the amount of work the club puts into its indigenous players on and off the field.
Interesting to see if we’d debut him with so many other fresh faces and smaller bodies already in the team

He didn’t star and if he comes in for Rioli it won’t be on form, it will be because he is familiar with the “Richmond way”. Personally I wouldn’t be rushing him back to the Seniors just yet.Agree...on paper it looks like he starred..admittedly he had a few clearances playing mid...but I’m thinking play Turner ahead of him...I like Fraser
