He's playing for his family so he's motivated, and he's looking in the best physical shape of his career. So far, the guy has done all he can with the opportunity.

Having now watched this I think it actually proves my point. The photo you keep posting seems like an optical illusion caused by a bad angle and Hinkley's ham and cheese toastie full belly.
This is a screenshot from like half a second later after Hinkley moves ever so slightly to the right of screen. No gut.
