Took me a while to warm up to him and his suspensions last year annoyed me but I’m big fan now. Looks in better physical condition and is playing well.

That was his best game since arriving at Port IMO ... He has had good burst, but this was four quarters of just joy to watch!

I don’t get to many games being from the country, but went to the Collingwood game last year and I thought Willie was the player who single-handedly kept us in the game. Every time he touched the ball something good happened. Was super impressed.

and very clever. The only problem with Willie are those muppets in fluro yellow, as they always find a free to play against Willie if he and his opponent are going for the ball one on one. It happens all the time and I guess it’s Willie’s previous “bad boy” reputation that goes against him.

He is playing the starvation corner role of deep small forward. He is never going to get 25 disposals a game.
