Nicer UI (subjective, I know), better driver support, lower required specs, tonnes of free software on their store, WINE (allows you to use windows apps on Linux), less aggressive updating, supposedly nicer on your battery if you're using it on a laptop (haven't used it all that vigorously to test that), way more customisable.Ive cosidered this.
What are the benefits other than the security Linux offers?
Hmm might make a Ubuntu boot for my personal use. Been a while. I have it purely to dick around with and see what I can and can't do, but it would make a pretty solid OS if you want to explore something non-windows without the Mac price-tag.
Yeah, I'm pretty tied up to Microsoft services, so using windows is just easiest for my needs (and I've never had any issues with windows personally), but it's fun to explore what's out there.Hmm might make a Ubuntu boot for my personal use. Unfortunately I'll always need Windows due to business and wife but will look into this more.
