Woosha

I heard a rumour at work today that Woosha and his wife have split up. Is that true, if it is could explain how the Eagles are going.

Bad luck last night.
Another rumour doing the rounds is that Lynchy got up more than Worsfolds Skin in his last year at the club aka the "Craig Turley". ( Which I might add I think is total BS )

Treat me like an idiot here, but why would a shield be needed? Sure it's not great news (if true), but it's not a rumour of him doing anything wrong.

I do get the whole "it's none of our business" aspect, but that's just a respect and politness thing.
People tend to run with rumours and take them a bit further...

Firstly, if you don't think it's true, why post it?

Secondly, if it were true, do you think the Eagles would have offered Lynch 1 year, but not 2?

Lingy has been reading big footy.

His give me something was that a 'friend' told him Paul Roos has bought a house in Perth.

Well its just stuff you hear around the traps, like this morning some guy mentioned to me that it was actually Worsfold having an affair with one of the Pharmacy girls so its all just speculation. I for one think it doesn't matter much so long as his performance is unaffected and we keep winning..ooops.

It's more than tacky, he has kids and other family members. There's a difference between being critical of his coaching and spreading horrible shit about him and his wife.
Its all BS mate, this is the point. Some of it is coming from our supporter friends down the road jumping all over us how ever they can and that's the less than tacky bit.

I also have an inside source that is familiar with Woosha's marital issues. Apparently he is going through a pretty tough divorce. Can see him choosing not to coach West Coast next year definitely.

He said a decision would be reached in consultation with his wife, Tammy, and two teenage sons.

"It doesn't really matter who the team is; my mind has got to change to do it anyway," Roos said.

"It's about me moving and where do I go, and at the moment I haven't got to the point at all where I really have to sit down with my wife Tammy and my boys and tell them that I'm thinking of doing it again."

Nisbett described as "nonsense" any prospect Roos could be approached for talks on coaching West Coast ahead of discussions with Worsfold.

The bolded section is what worries me if a) he is thinking of leaving and b) we are looking at Roos and this is actually what the club are thinking (rather than publicising). If we do not act to protect our interest here, we are going to be left with little choice. Some parameters need to be set so we are not left in the dark waiting at the restaurant for a date that never came.

Yeah, I heard it too from an inside man and posted it in another thread over a week ago. In respect of the family's privacy I won't divulge specifics, but suffice to say I feel for all of them. Mum teaches one of his girls and the family's relationship status has not been great for a while now. Perhaps some time of coaching to focus on what really matters in life, i.e. family, is the best thing for Woosh.

I doubt Roos would commit to Melbourne before knowing West Coast's intentions even if it is purely to bump up his asking price from Melbourne. And all that is assuming Roos wants to coach next season, which seems uncertain.

Roo's is now $1.80 to coach the Demons but i think he is just accepting a call from them to hear them out.

Surely he would rather coach West Coast then the Demons if he had the choice?

Yeah, I made sure I included the part where he hadn't even considered whether he wanted to coach yet. Purely speculation, but more to say I hope we aren't putting all our eggs in one basket.

Lol ... sure can bet on anything these days!!

I heard today that us going after Roos is actually legit. And that if not him, Burns is next in line.

Surprised me. I kind of just viewed the Roos thing as a media circle jerk.

double what we could offer

How do you work that out? The Dees are on borrowed money as it is, surely it would not be responsible practice to offer a super offer, when they can't even fill the severance of the previous coach. West Coast is pretty flush as well.
