Another go-to second word comes up for me , for what feels like the first time in ages

My favourite is Spelling Bee where I have these stats:

The Americanisms are frustrating and even more obvious in the Crossword and Connections.
Today a perfect score in Connections and 'impressive' for Wordle.
I've only ever had one hole in one with Wordle in the just over a year that I have been playing it and have now played most of the archived games which is one of the benefits of a sub.

From feather duster yesterday to crowing today.
