Did anyone know there’s a Wordle like show predating this game forever ago?

It’s called Lingo.

I've watched it occasionally and the stupid people really annoy me - the number of idiots I've seen guess nearly the same word (1 letter diff) on consecutive guesses does my head in

The ones who do the best are those who seem smart enough to have a very clear tactically approach, especially using two different words to start with which will eliminate/help with potential options


I do question why some have opted to go on the show

It returned in 2021 & still going, plus had celebrity versions; we get the British version out here

Oh sorry, misread the question. I thought they meant online. Yes I’ve seen some word game shows and people are often remarkably dumb. But I guess the pressure and the spotlight makes it more difficult to think calmly.
