Welcome to Total Championship Wrestling
Or World Championshp Wrestling, which is more accurate, thanks to creative liberties. Please allow this backstory to fill you in.

Scott Sandars, unoffically leader of TCW had a meeting with Vince McMahon, freshly outed as a sex-pest... Despite the fact everyone has known that Vinnie is a sex-pest for the past 30 years.

The month was January and Vince was watching the WWE Royal Rumble and shudder watching the story of Cody Rhodes winning back to back Royal Rumbles, muttering to himself about Paul Levesque "ruininig his company" . Etc, Vince rants when he wants to.

Vince realised that he had an option, and called Sandars, a little insulted that he has been resorted to this, and frustrated that Sandars has a loyal following, both from the fans, as well as the wrestlers.

I approach Vince's mansion, and is led inside. "Good evening Vince. To what do I owe these summons?"

Vince, looking eager, but trying to hide it. "Look, Sandars, you have been a thorn in my side for years. Running a promotion that rivals my brains." At this point, Scott chuckles lightly, so as not to offense Vince, who continues; "Jeff and Jerry couldn't do it, hell, Jeff ran to Tony couldn't do it, yet you seem to get the best sports entertainers in the work for you, and they always seem happy, how?"

I smirk. "Because I am an honest man. It's strange in this world of professional wrestling, isn't it? But come one Vince, what is the real reason you wanted to meet with me?*

Vince seems to shift in his seat. "Well, I want to buy into your company, I miss the business, and. I can give you a lot of.." I chuckle "That's very generous Vince, but no, you will not be you any complete control or have anything to do with how I run things on screen.. Vince however shakes his head and gives a nearly honest smile "Oh no Scott. I don't want to be an on-air character, I'm well and truly pass that, in fact take this" *I notice Vince has pass me a check for $2 million, along with the rights to the WCW name. I looks at Vince, waiting for him to drop something, only for him to drift off muttering the Hogan theme song as he appears. Perhaps I shouldn't have done it. But well... I did! I sign both contracts, then head to my lawyers.

- Okay so this is a half assed way of getting the WCW name back... For that, I am sorry..
For future reference, my out of character stuff will also be in this colour.

As for how often I update this, after the start is going to depend on my mood, because as much as I enjoy booking, I get burnt out easily when writing.

If you are expecting some kind of realism here, I apologise for reasons that will be apparent when I post the title history.
As "Vince" has said, I 'stole' from him and made most people happy as well, so don't be surprised if you see names that you'e familiar with.

If there is someone, feel free to ask, because I don't bite.. I have 2 dogs that do the biting :D.

Japanese Street Fight for the WCW Vixens Championship

If Cora Jade wins, Hikaru Shida cannot challenge for the Vixens Title while Cora Jade is Champion again.
This was fought under streetfight fules, and it was fun to watch, Hikaru had a few never falls, especially after she used a chair to Cora's head, using her knee as the actual weapon. Roc-C appeared, and nailed Pop Rocks on Shida, before pulling Cora into the pin.

Wes Lee © defeated Mike Bailey with the 937, and feet on the ropes to retain the WCW Crusierweight Championship. Wes Lee then looked to attack Mike Bailey post-match, only for Zachary Wentz to chase him off. And if you expect me to write this up in full, you're loco..

WCW World Tag Team Championships.

Baron Corbin and Bronson Steiner defeated TMDK (Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls) © by Submission after Steiner applied the Recliner to Haste to become the NEW WCW World Tag Team Champions. Like the Cruiserweight title, this was surprisingly spot filled, thanks in large part to TMDK... However, even Baron Corbin went to the second rope for a flying leg-drop, so, yeah.

WCW United States Championship

Rey Mysterio came out like a bull in a gate. Well as much as Rey could look like a bull, however Shinsuke wasn't impressed and after an initial flurry, the two had a pretty entertaining match, until Dominik appeared out of nowhere blasted his own father in the back with a steel chair, leaving him wide open for Kinshasa, which connects and we're done here.
Shinsuke Nakamura © defeated Rey Mysterio by Pinfall via the Kinshasa and United States Championship.

Grudge Match

Eli Drake vs. Drew Galloway
This too, was a fun match, I can't be bothered to see if they crossed pathes in TNA/GFW/whatever, but they worked hard and in my humble opinion, put each other over. Drew had to hit Eli Drake with 3 Claymores just to win the match putting an end to a genuinely hard fought contest.
Drew Galloway defeated Eli Drake by pinfall.

Last Man Standing Match for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship

Cody had a knock down, drag out brawl with Tanahashi, until Hiroshi went for a high knee and American Nightmare appied the American Nightmare (Reverse Figure Four) for near on 4 minutes, making sure that Hiroshi couldn't stand and answer the 10-count.

There is a short turn-around between this show and Calgary Stampede, in terms of the dates, not sure how short it will be in real time, though. Guess it depends on my motivation.

WCW Monday Nitro
Monday the 24th of June, 2024.

Local Talent vs. Oba Femi
As much as I would like to say this was a hot opener, it wasn't. But let's look at the positives, Oba Femi for his inexperience is getting over. Oh and he won here too, with the Fall From Grace. (Seriously, I need to rename that move, and Oba is meant to be heel, why's he getting cheered? He's met to be heel)
Wiinner: Oba Femi
66, 43, 89. **3/4

As Oba Femi leaves the ring, the music of Kazuchika Okada hits, and he makes his way to the ring. There's a brief staredown between the two, before Okada enters the ring and takes the microphone. Okada says that he's enjoyed his time with Nakamura and Tanahashi, but he's going to do what Hiroshi couldn't and that's leave Calgary Stampede as WCW World Heavyweight Champion.
73

WCW Television Championship

Scott Sandars (C) vs. Trevor Grimes
This was surprisingly even, Sandars, being kind of old tried to slow the pace down somewhat, gave Trevor Grimes plenty of offense, However, Grimes sent Scott for a backbody drop, hence, kick what Scott Drop~! And that's three.
Winner and Still WCW Television Champion: Scott Sandars

The Rascalz music hits and Zachary Wentz makes his way to the ring, well, I say that, but he didn't actually. "Wes, I know you're hear somewhere, it doesn't matter where though, because at Calgary Stampede, I am going to face you in tthat very ring" He points to the ring, as if we don't know. "And I am going to take your WCW Cruiserweight Championship!" And just like that, Zachary Wentz takes his leave.

Davina Rose vs. Anna Jay

I want to say this match was good, I really, really do. And I probably would, after about a minute, Rok-C intefered, attacking both women, ruling this match as a No Contest. After the math, Davina and Anna teamed up and attacked Rok-C.
No Contest Through Interference

Hikaru sits backstage, when she's approached by Scott Sandars. Sandars expresses disappointment and asks Shida what she's going to do. Shida doesn't answer, looking dejected. Sandars panics and offers to take her out for dinner, which brings a smile to Shida's face as she nods. The two leave together and we go back to the ring.
91%

Bronson Steiner vs. Chris Jericho

To say WCW is jobbing out Jericho without mercy, is a lie. He used his veteran wiles to keep Bron Steiner off guard for most of the math. Alas, it's a Steiner, and whilst they're not very good with math, A Screwdriver~! plus the Recliner = Submission Victory for Bronson! Post match, Jericho sells his next, and looks out at the fans, who give him a decidely mixed reaction.
Winner: Bromson Steiner
91, 83, 100. ****3/4

We head backstage, where David Harding has apparently gotten a new office that looks a little, fancy. Keen observers would even note a ROH World Championship on the wall. However Dominik Mysterio barges in, and confronts the Majestic One. They bicker for a while (can anyone say filler) before Dominik invokes his rematch clause for the WCW Television title at Calgary Stampede, without David Harding being anywhere near ringside. Harding agrees, on the condition that Dominik beats someone of his choosing, this Thursday.

Main Event
WCW World Heavyweight Championship
Cody Rhodes (C) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

This was surprisingly even Shinsuke getting more that a few near-falls. However, I was busy and saw Cody end it with Cross Rhodes... I shall get the DVD because, well... I'm the booker, man.

WCW Rumor Mill:
There's noise about David Harding making a return to the ring, albeit for a brief run, and that WCW has signed someone to become the 'acting' General Manager.
WCW has supposedly signed two former AEW and NJPW workers to exclusive contracts, an the duo will actually debut as a team following Calgary Stampede.
WCW seems to be looking to expand it's "Vixens" division, possibly with the aim of introducing a women's version of the Tag Team Championships, in addition to making it's Sunday TV show a women's only show.

I reckon that David Harding will do a good job.

And we kick off this show with the music of David Harding. He confidently walks to the ring, smirking. However, before he can speak, Dominik Mysterio comes to the ring, demanding to know why Harding DDT'd him. Harding coolly responds well first, it's true, the heat you get is real. He then informs that he DDT'd Dom, because got into his face, and points out that he's not like other Commissioners. Dominik nots and slaps Harding, before escaping the ring as Harding's nostrils flair. Harding recovers and informs Dominik that he better find a partner by Sunday, because on WCW Worldwide, he will be facing the team of Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio.

Zoe Lucas vs. Tay Melo

Yeah, I would say this was a hard-faught match, but then that would make me a liar. Zoe got squashed here, but did a good job of making Tay look great, before tapping out to the Octopus Choke. After the match, Anna Jay hit the ring, and locked Lucas in the Queen Slayer, just because she could.
Winner: Tay Melo
78, 61, 95. ***3/4

Next up was a vignette of a mountain of a man, who is gearing up to take WCW by storm. No name is revealed, but if anyone reads the news, I think it's pretty bloody obvious who it is.

WCW World Tag Team Championships

Wolf Dogs (Baron Corbin and Bronson Steiner) (C) vs. TMDK (Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls)
This was almost a carbon copy of their PPV match, complete with the Wolf Dogs winning, only this time Baron Corbin hit the End of Days on Mikey Nicholls. After the match, Brian Myers and Matt Cardona took the chance and cheapshotted both Corbin and Steiner, though, it did not end well for them following Steiner Driver to Cardona, End of Days to Myers.

Next is our sportz entertainment~! storyline, with Scott Sandars clearly not at the arena, but actually on a date with Hikaru Shida. It would be adorable, except this is a wrestling show. Seriously, nothing happened here.
87

Davey Boy Smith Jr. vs. Buddy Matthews

This was surprisingly even, and despite Smith utilized some of his father's moves, this ending in a no-contest, because JACOB FATU made an appearance and attacked both Davey and Buddy, confusing the fans. After the bell, Fatu made it clear as he repeatedly brutalized Davey Boy Smith Jr. with a steel chair across the spine.
No Contest Through Interference.

Next, we are backstage, where David Harding is shown on the phone. Actually inviting someone to Monday Nitro. Smell the ratings~!

No Disqualification

Cody Rhodes and Heath Miller vs. OkadaMura (Kazuchika Okada and Shinsuke Nakamura)
The backstory for his match, was that Cody could find anyone he liked, except Hiroshi Tanahashi, following his face turn, and well, here we are. And Holy clusterf**l, batman. Ethan Page and Josh Alexander were the first to interfere, only for Rhodes to give them both Cross Rhodes. Then Chris Jericho attempted to interfere, only for Scott Sandars to chase him away. Before it was all said and done, Okada drilled Rhodes with the Rainmaker for the 1-2-3.
Winners: OkadaMura

Zoe Lucas and Leyla Hirsch vs. TayJay (Anna Jay and Tay Melo)

If this is how a women's tag team title is going to go, then perhaps it shouldn't happen. Seriously, this match was pointless, except for Tay Melo being back. Yay!

WCW Television Champinship
Scott Sandars (C) vs. Ilja Dragunov

Grudge Match
R-Mysteri-O (Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio) vs. Dominik Mysterio and Ethan Page (Dom and the Gang)

This could have been a fun match, but realisically Josh Alexander interfered, for a 3-on-2. Rey and Randy win it by DQ. Dom and the Gang try to brualize Orton for some reason, until Dave Harding's music hits, Harding consoles Rey and Randy, whilst swearing at Dominik for getting one over him.
Winner: Dominik Mysterio and Ethan Page
