Course record broken by Paul Waring with a 61 who leads by one after Round 3.

Detry then comes out and shoots 62 to move from a place in the 50’s up to a tie for 7th.

The Seniors' Tour has its detractors - but sometimes it is good watching. Bernie Langer shot his age on both Saturday and Sunday. Rolled in an absolute bomb on the 18th to get the tournament win. And that wasn't his first long one for the day. His 18th consecutive season with a win on that Tour. An extraordinary achievement. Especially since he ruptured his Achilles in February.

It's so hard to see who the leaders are, what their score is and what hole they're playing. I'm referring to the mini leaderboard in the bottom right of the screen. Don't know if anyone else has similar issues, but compared to prior tournaments the UAE series mini leaderboard is very difficult to read.

Better option was to watch Nelly take her 7th win for the year.

Next week will be good watching - LPGA Tour Championship and the blokes on the bubble playing for their careers at RSM.

They are such children, Wallace and Hatton are hot headed valves just waiting to explode every time they play, you just know its coming, oh of course unless they are winning. Nothing wrong with having this attitude, as long as you can control it, it can be beneficial in all sports but to keep it under wraps and harnessing it, is the secret. Damaging the course should be an automatic fine, no ifs and no buts, then see how many times they do it!

LPGA players in bikinis just gives me flashbacks from my teenage years. When my golf nerd friends labelled me Jan because of my swing - which looked sweet but generated no power.

After about a 30 year gap, I recently swung a club in the presence of one of those nerds - he immediately laughed, "Jan! Jan! You are still Jan Stephenson!"
