Agree [emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]]%.
Problem is the power these high profile players have. They won’t allow it.

The power that the manufacturers wield is worse.

There’s so many ways they could speed up play. The most obvious one - which wont happen because the manufacturers won’t allow it - is to roll back the ball and equipment.

Reachable par fours/fives cause massive backups.

Yes quite true sideswipe, but as you pointed out it will never happen and in fact with technology only getting better by the minute its just going to keep the same things happening. On the DP World Tour it happens a few times and at least chief referee Mark Litton does a good job, though like on all tours it could be improved.

On the PGA Tour, well to say its frustrating is an understatement but usually its the same guys that get called out for slow play, there are a couple of players that I back that you actually think they are not going to hit the ball {putting} that their routine is such that they sometimes get caught in a pickle, now I know everyone has a different routine but bloody hell, "hit the ball", its sometimes outright ridiculous.

Pebble looking superb as always.

Would absolutely love to play it.

Me too. To get onto Pebble, all you need is dough - to pay for green fees as well as stay on property.

May as well chuck in Cypress Point as well. But harder to get on. Tom Coyne’s book on US courses makes Cypress sound amazing.

Funnily enough Pebble was the first golf course I ever set foot on. As a four year old. Can’t remember how it was playing.

Game over at pebble

Rory put on an absolute display. I do hope he gets at least one more major, preferably Augusta.

Cam Davis’ pitch on eighteen was ridiculous. Worth a watch if you haven’t seen it.

The season has stepped up!

Rory just drove the ball at an obscene level. Made mincemeat of some of the par 5’s.

Carrying 330+ is just ridiculous.

I guess when your a former number # golfer in the world, won a major and still playing at a good level, you can, I've seen much worse and not even mentioned.

Except he can’t - officials made him tape over a massive Malbon logo on the back of a jacket on Saturday.

The gear doesn’t do it for me. As Trevor asked on the telecast, “did he lose his luggage?”

Worst thing about it is the oversizing. So much flapping about in the wind.

Legion are going to be an absolute force this season. McKibbin is going to make more this year than he probably would in [emoji[emoji6][emoji6]] years playing on the PGA tour

Like the Legion setup being all Callaway players. Reckon a few teams backed by manufacturers creates a bit of interest.

Apparently it was Callaway that funded McKibbin’s signing.

I’m sorry but when did we start caring about the manufacturers?
If this becomes Callaway vs Taylormade as a sport it is dead to me.

That’s how sports like motor racing and road cycling form teams. It’s something a little less arbitrary than the makeup of many of the current LIV teams. Might be a way to create value for the franchises.
