Finally made it in around 10:30, so I got a good hour and a half in. Dicked around with my addons for a bit and just made it to level 6. Going to try and setup remote desktop so I can log in earlier tomorrow and not have a repeat of tonight. Need a few solid sessions as half the guild have already steamed ahead (they had the day off though).

Jeez some of the streamers have been playing 24 hours straight and are around level 25...

Watching them doing RFKs and Shadow Fang keep looking like its a raid with its difficulty lol.

Also love their choice of old school music, nostalgia plus!

What server mate ? I have a few mates that went on the pve one as they were sick of the ques. On it now and got to level 11. Hunter/Dwarf :p

I'm going to roll on Oceana PvP. Im messing around on Arugal setting up my UI.

Arugal queues are already 2k+. Time to try out this chrome remote desktop thingamybob.

I’am too scared to jump in. I’ll get fat, lazy and stop being social. This game is bad for my Heath and sleep ..

Who needs those things when you've got WoW? I might have only got 5-6 hours sleep last night but in my real life I'm currently pretty well rested in the inn at Razor Hill.

How good is it joining parties for things and interacting with people again. I was struggling with a quest, some lock showed up and we partied then went our separate ways. We kept running into each other post that and would always /wave. I was in another party where we were deep in a cave then got surrounded by respawns and wiped. Twice. We just laughed it off and made a plan. It's simply an MMO again. Blizzard can polish retail all they want but it's the simpler, yet more cooperative style that the players want.

Too easy to get bogged down and side tracked. By the Barrens I still hadn't found a 2h axe upgrade and of course the starter one wasn't really cutting it by then. I had a green 2h sword but had to trek to UC to get the training for it and then had to level the thing (a few deaths...). Finally scored a decent 1h axe from a warrior class quest and had to level that too (some more deaths...). I feel like I'm a level behind my quests though despite doing everything. Might have to hit up RFC for a level or two.

Skinning seems fairly handy for levelling coin. A couple stacks of light leather is a few silver. Trailers are making a killing off linen bags at the moment.

Everyone just give up on Arg and come to felstriker - more and more queue are moving over.
Last night i got to play rather than sit in a queue for 5 hours. its fun!
I moved over there yesterday, it's completely dead.

I agree, everyone go to Felstroker, or even Yojimbo

To the uninitiated, what's the difference between classic and retail?

The game in its most original and basic state. It is simpler in terms of content but a far steeper difficulty and learning curve which encourages socialising. It also feels more connected to the Warcraft universe if you come from the original RTS games. Retail now is optimised for casual and solo play.

Cool bananas

Pain now gain later, low pop servers will really feel the pain when numbers drop away and they become Ghost Towns. Plus all my friends are already on Arugal.
