Exactly. That was the point DEVO was making when the covered a classic revered on both sides of the Atlantic. Western Society had turned into a empty, souless comsumer machine. We are witness to the DEVOlution of Western Society, and George W. Bush is proof that they were right.

Personal I think the they failed, the song is far from empty, has soul and is far from embarrassing. And Boogie Boy mix is even better.
