Opinion Worst Game-Day Kit for Each Team

Was this worn in an AFL game, or just a weird pre season kit?

It was originally a preseason jumper but they ended up wearing it in a regular game against Geelong in 2006.

I thought about putting this jumper up but I couldn't find a clear shot of it. Its up there along with our 2010 Ford anniversary jumper.

Better or worse than this? The Thor kit probably takes the cake but at least it was (mostly) in club colours.

This is pretty good I reckon… def a good clash kit as it’s a totally different colour. And it’s not a bad design.

St Kilda had yellow on their jumper from 1915 to 1922 so it’s not without historical relevance.

As a design this isn’t a terrible footy jumper. It’s just always going to be hated as it looked like a bastardisation of the home jumper.

Nah the giant somehow faded logo clash from 2007-2008 was the worst one.

The Pura Milk yellow peril had charm, this does not

I didnt mind the power rangers, but boy have we had some shite guernseys. Big shout out to Port, Freo and North swimming in the murky depths with us. And GC, do better.

Adelaide - one of the white clashes, probably the one with the big Crow.

Brisbane - with all due respect to the mid 2000 clashes, it's the paddlepop lion, maybe the white one if I had to pick just one.

Carlton - can't really think of a bad one? Even the M and Ms and the Livestrong, those were okay, people just objected to Carlton wearing those colours.

Essendon - poppy seed sash for Anzac Day.

Fremantle - 3D anchor

Geelong - the Ford 85 anniversary one was a stinker, I never really warmed to the cat head logo that they brought in for 2008.

Gold Coast - Anzac Day

GWS - unpopular, but it's their current home one... should embrace the orange, not minimise it.

Hawthorn - where to start? But maybe the brown with gold stripes (inverse of the regular home jumper) with white shorts for sheer pointlessness.

Melbourne - one of the recent pisstake clash efforts.

North Melbourne - See: Melbourne.

Port Adelaide - no shortage of contenders from their clash efforts, but probably the white one with the teal back from the late 2000s if I can only pick one. Or maybe the Indigenous Round one that turned out to be a complete rip off by the winner of a competition of an original artist's design (unbeknownst to Port of course, in fairness)

Richmond - the original clash, which was so useless, Port had to come up with an emergency prison bar set to play an elimination final (as the home team) against the Tigers in 2014.

St Kilda - the one that brought back that stick figure logo from the 80s, think it was a preseason guernsey. Or the late 2000s with the distressed logo.

Sydney - can't really think of an awful one.

West Coast - I'd like to just go the Castore year, but left field selection, I never really liked the period where they removed the 'EAGLES' wording in the mid 90s and just had the eagle head, especially the navy blue home version.

Western Bulldogs - even as a one off, the Thor one is such a disgrace that it well and truly deserves to be mentioned here.

I actually don't mind this one. A least looks like a property sporting guernsey, unlike a lot of the others. could easily be a Sydney based rugby union guernsey

I didn't realise how many bad sponsor ones there were (Western Bulldogs, Sydney, Port Adelaide being the worst for their clubs - Though, some clubs like Sydney, Melbourne and Essendon was near on impossible to pick as they basically havent had a bad kit - And I didn't even include Carlton's M&M or Geelong's Ford strips)
