What about worst non-premiership captains of all time? Scott Pendlefairy captains the side from 2014-2022 for 0 premierships, he gets demoted and the very next season worst premiership captain of all time Darcina Moore does what Pendlefairy couldn't.

Not the worst when Maxwell and Moore are around, but it is a valid point. Only won because he had superstars like Ablett and Dangerfield around him. Done nothing without those superstars. Just a guy who was incredibly lucky to be right place at right time.

Clearly we can see from this list his best years coincided with Geelongs worst years. His lesser years coincided with other stars at the club and were Geelongs best years. My point remains, he was right place at right time.

- AFL premiership captain: (2022) So are Moore, Maxwell and Harley
- 6× All-Australian team: (2009, 2010, 2013(c), 2014(c), 2016(c), 2017) Note his best years 2013 - 2017 no flags. As I said he couldn't do it himself, he relied on others around him. Right place right time confirmed.
- 4× AFLPA Robert Rose Most Courageous Player Award: (2009, 2012, 2013, 2014) Not really a skill thing
- 3× Carji Greeves Medal: (2010, 2013, 2014) All in non GF making sides, showed he relied on others for ultimate success. As I said, right place right time.
